Established in 1992, Culver & DeLoach was the business merger of two life-long friends, Pete Culver and Frank DeLoach. Having been born on St. Simons Island, Pete and Frank grew up next door to one another across the street from St. Simons Elementary School where they walked to school every day as young boys.
While Pete finished up his Management Degree from Georgia Tech, Frank was wrapping up a Masters from the University of Georgia. Though both spent some time in Atlanta after college, it was inevitable that they would come home to begin their careers in Island real estate. Their first development would be Harrison Point, an affordable yet upscale mid-island neighborhood. This 134 lot subdivision sold out in under five years, an impressive start for a new real estate company. After that followed the residential communities of Butler Plantation, Jones Creek, Southpoint, Stillwater and The Great Satilla Preserve.
